National Election Board of Ethiopia!
Any national Board set up to run regulate the a specific duties is endowed not only the authority to carry out its duties but also the responsibility to observe the rules under which it is governed and governing the entities falling under its wings.
This said, the National Election Broad could accept and reject registering newly(this doesn’t affect the old TPLF), unless one has deliberately wishes to blindfold and deny facts), formed parties to represent their constituents impartially in accordance to the guide lines it is mandated.
But to come out in advance and issue statements threatening anyone ought not form a party or call a general assembly in a way that suits their interest is not only unlawful but clearly shows the Board appears to be in service of a third group, the Board favours for it own purpose.
Such an act and/or a move is not a work of a moderator/regulator but a hangman eager to extinguish the last breath of an adversary falsely accused of a wrong doing s/he hasn’t committed.
In other words The National Election Board shouldn’t go around sniffing as a shill to mislead the people into doing what serves its masters but follow the rules rather than wasting resources.
Further the earring letter written by the Board was to the TPLF. How in earth did fall in the hands of others before it reached the TOO P LF unless it was intentionally done so so to create fear and mayhem in Tigray, is such cheap an act a work of an institution meant to work in good faith for the entire people?
