On 16 April 2025, Parliament Square ground to a standstill as hundreds of Tigrayan protesters—parents clutching photographs of lost loved ones, schoolchildren on half-term break waving *“Justice for Tigray” placards, and allies from across London and the Southeast—transformed the heart of British democracy into a thunderous demand for accountability. Draped in the crimson, yellow, and emerald of the Tigray flag, the crowd chanted “End the Silence, Stop the Genocide!”
